They've spent half the game on the powerplay. They're outshooting them more than 2 to 1. This is about as bad as Vancouver will possibly play. And it's tied.

The Kings MAY rally to win THIS game, but man, based on what I've seen so far, they have no chance in the series. They are playing well. Vancouver is playing terribly, and it's tied.

This game is going pretty much as expected. People are giving the Canucks way too much credit for winning the Presidents when they were FAR from being the best team this regular season. A lot of emphasis is given to how they finished the season 8-1-1 as well... but they looked like garbage in at least half of those wins.

The teams are much more evenly matched than people on TV are letting on. Also, this is the first time I've really taken a look at the Kings roster... why the hell weren't they a top-tier team this year? Doughty is amazing, Brown should be a 30+ goal scorer, Kopitar is a PPG player, I don't know WTF happened to Penner, and I don't think anything needs to be said of Richards and Carter.

...I almost posted this without even mentioning that they have arguably the best goalie in the league this year as well. How the **** did they pull off an 8-seed?
