hey crimson, i can tell you a lot about it. especially how, and i don't mean to be a smartass, a lot of females see their way out of here. We started with 160, we're down to 137, majority of our losses were females. They're usually washed out due to the physical stuff, mostly ruck marches, due to smaller frames and injuries. The ones that are here are small too, but have that endurance/mindset the majority of others didn't. You seem like a tough cat, you could probably do it. If you have any questions let me know, I only have a few more things to tackle before I'm a lieutenant.

Yeah Swift, I imagine endurance would be my biggest weakness. I'm not afraid to admit that guys are just (on the whole) able to take more physical punishment than girls are. What branch are you going into? I've been looking into the air force myself, since it seems slightly physically easier than the army, and I don't really have any interest in the navy. Plus my grandpa was in the air force, so it'd be kind of a cool connection. I'd probably just apply for officer school straight away instead of enlisting since I have my degree already. I'm not exactly sure how it all works.

But yeah, if this job I'm currently trying to wrangle falls through I'm going to start seriously training while continuing my crap job on the side and see if I can make a go of it. Push ups/sit ups aren't a problem, but I've never been much of a runner.

i'm army national guard Quartermaster. So I'll be a platoon leader, at a local jersey unit, for supply, working alongside ordance, transportation, etc. It's a support branch. And yes, Air Force is easily the least demanding for physical, go for it! Joint Forces, etc etc.

running is the most important part for an officer though, sorry. Get to running. And yes, a degree can get you a spot as what we call an "09S" MOS. Meaning you'll go through basic and then straight to officer school, get a branch, then go to that specialized training.
