Discuss how much you love broccoli and how it has enriched your life.

Fights scurvy, keeps your pooper polished, crunchy and delicious, pleasant shade of green, works well in stir fry. Broccoli once held off four waves of mind worms, saving an entire colony. If it wasn't for broccoli we'd have to rely on oranges and bell peppers for vitamin C and we all know what that's like.

Raw broccoli is fine. I can't really think of any specific broccoli recipes I like but I know I enjoy it in pretty much everything I've had it in so it's good in my books.

Mistake you're making - overlooking the fact that we might not want to be saved.

I always feel like one of those brachiosaurs from Jurassic Park whenever I eat broccoli raw.

Raw broccoli is awesome but is directly inferior to carrots and red bell peppers

But cooked, it's really hard to beat broccoli, provided you cook it correctly, of course. None of this "boiled" crap or "cheese" crap. Saute with water, butter, garlic, salt, pepper until slightly over al dente and all the florets have absorbed the delicious garlic juice oh god so good.

I call them leaves because broccoli looks like a tree. I call the rest of it the trunk for consistency's sake.
