The Das model s professional.

And well...it is certainly an adjustment to have keys that virtually float in your hands. Like, I never really thought about the amount of effort it took to press a key, but a mechanical keyboard makes it preeetty clear.

While I was sorely tempted to get the regular model with the mx blue switches for the clicky clicky sound, I got the 'silent' model instead that comes with the brown switches. Supposedly better for gaming than the blues, though I imagine the difference is slight at best (and it isn't like these things are silent either, they still make a noise, it is just not the ear orgasm that the clicking noise is. More muted.).

The keyboard also feels a bit too slick perhaps too. my fingers want too slide around a bit too much and since it takes virtually no effort to press a key...yeah. I'll probably adapt though, and the pros still far outweigh what minor complaints I have. The only thing I will miss is a volume knob, but that thing was hardly a necessity, and I can just rebind some keys for vol up and down.

All in all, quite happy with my purchase so far. Makes me want to type more breaking it in. :p
