Also I feel the urge to do a SK ranking of some sort.

I'm picking between attempting to re-do the book ranking(maybe in top list form this time), doing a short story ranking(read through each one with writeups), or a top villain writeup.

Thoughts?

I just got through It a little while ago. I'll probably pick up another of his blockbusters at some point but It was very good up until the end parts which I thought really dragged and had some obnoxiously weird stuff.

I'm taking from this post that you're still new to King(not meant to be insulting) so I'll just let you know he has issues with endings quite often. Even his best books have some weirdness at the end.

Nah not new to King books but that doesn't make things like the whole scene in the sewer with Beverly and the rest of the group less weird.

Yeah most Steven King stories tend to derail themselves in one way or another near the end. Sometimes it's not too bad and sometimes they recover after (as in, they get dumb near the end but then the very end is fine) at least.

Honestly, that's one of the less weird endings he has had, because it mad sense in the scope and theme of the story.

Now, The Stand, Duma Key, Under The Dome, all of those have bizarre endings. The only major story I can think of that doesn't really suffer from this(imo) is Needful Things.

That wasn't even in the ending though. It was just weirdness and no it does not make sense. There are a hundred other things he could've gone with that would've been less awkward, for me.
