As some of you may know, tomorrow is the last day of Round 5 in the User of the Year competition. In this round, I am pitted against one of the darlings of B8, even Cokes. Cokes has been coming to this board for at least as long as I have, and has formidable e-pop cred, rivaling or perhaps even surpassing my own. This match-up is not unexpected, but most certainly it is unfortunate, and I was hoping it would not happen until the end.
However, since we are made to battle this early on in the competition, I have spent much of the last day in thought, contemplating my decision. Surely if there was ever a user who deserved to win User of the Year, it is Cokes. Cokes is a man of unparalleled taste in music, in television, and in users. He associates himself with only that which is of the utmost quality. He has the final word in all discussions of taste, and has been a constant board contributor for over eight years.
Thus it is, after much soul searching and weighing all the options, that I have decided to suspend my campaign for User of the Year. While I appreciate the many votes of confidence I have received so far, I know that there is something far more important than me. More fighting between Cokes and myself will only bring us both down. With my campaign suspended, I would like to give my official User of the Year endorsement to Cokes.
Please, all my loyal fans, give you support to this user. For there is no better candidate for this position than Cokes himself. And I will be right there beside you all in your support for him. I know that if we work together, we can make this happen and vote Cokes to be the 2012 User of the Year.
Bartz, you are a gentleman's gentleman. Regardless of how Day 5 turns out, you have been a formidable competitor and an excellent user, especially over the last year.
Cokes! I see what you are doing here. I am thrilled to see you have accepted my endorsement. I wish you the best of luck in Round 6. You know that I will be behind you 100%

And Crasty, it is anything but the the anti-game(or the game). I will admit right now that I would be a better User of the Year candidate than anyone else in the competition, except Cokes. And if, for whatever reason the good voters decide to reject Cokes (God forbid), I would be honored to fight in his stead.
