OMFG I forgot those trolling powerups who turn into bats. They've almost killed me twice so far

And I can't believe some poor guy probably spent weeks making the sprite, and animating the movements, of some plant monster boss thing that just hops worthlessly around the room and then hovers in the air while I unload missiles into it. Probably how the guy who made Spore Spawn in Super felt when he realized you could just hide in a corner, only here the boss was purposefully loleasy

Agreed.

Makes Metroid Fusion a completely different - and way better - game. In that the survival horror elements become more than just superficial. Everything can kill you in 1-3 hits, so everything is absolutely terrifying to actually fight against.

Also, I managed to get the secret message once. My friend dared me into it, and I spent pretty much all day just trying over and over until I got it.
