Norrington is one of the weaker PotC characters, surprised he made it this far considering the lack of support the film has been seeing.

Yeah, PotC looked good last time but even Jack is going to be out before the top 50 at this rate. I can't commit to being here most of the time, and without me no one will vote for them for some reason.

Whew. Feared the worst when I woke up from the nap I didn't even intend to take, but good round.

For the record I would vote for Capts Jack and/or Barbossa if they were ever in immediate danger and I had a save to spare (depending on who else was in the bottom with them), but they aren't priority saves this year sorry. Will is though. And I'm not a fan of Kiera Knightley in a corset or Commodore Borington so yeah.

Yeah, well.

In my honest opinion this contest is way too trade heavy in its infancy. You can't even really keep up, and good stuff is always at the tail end because no one will trade for actual good characters (usually) but rather their obscure stuff. Oh well.

Put up another night round imo, I'd like to participate the whole way through!

Oh, I agree. It really blows seeing Scar and Capt Jack in the bottom 30 almost every round because everyone is too worried about trading their fodder favorites to throw characters of legitimate strength a free vote, but I refuse to trade for Scar this early- not until he's in the top 100 at the very soonest. In fact I only offered Scar as a trade this round to stop an icky trade from taking place (this failed for the record).

I'm guilty of trading fodder myself, but I do eventually plan on abandoning my weaker favorites in favor of the stronger ones at one point eventually, and in my case I like the stronger favorites more so it would be kind of silly to focus my efforts on Bagheera and Sebastian like I did last contest.

He is! But my number 1 and 2 are much stronger and I let my number 2 fall at like 33rd last time due to negligence and focusing on my weaker favorites. Plus there's that whole plateau thing- you know, the point at which people will refuse to trade for your character any further. It happens to all of the weaker characters. Last contest David Xanatos, Bagheera, Meeko, and Girl Squirrel all plateaued at a certain point and subsequently got the axe as not enough people wanted to see them win. When it comes down to crunch time, I'd rather focus my efforts on a character that can actually you know... win, especially if I like him more.

Anywho, I'm not even thinking about dropping them any time before top 100, so don't worry about it for now.

The only reason I've been trading for some of the characters I have been is because I don't want to even risk it. I mean, Aladdin is traditionally one of the strongest characters in this thing, but after two rounds of him near the bottom 30, I feel like making as safe early.

Right now, I have my top 6 I'm focusing on this contest and then I've pretty much abandoned the rest. I'll take them as far as I can, but I'm not going to worry about their placement.

Not really, there just wasn't enough time to trade with other people. I got Meeko to 4th the first Season :3

I'll start supporting Stitch when I have to. Right now my popular favorites don't need me, usually, so that gives me plenty of time to save and trade for my less popular favorites. Mushu's been doing pretty poorly, though, so I might need to switch something up... I'm just not sure which of my main 8 or 10 characters I save to drop...
