Bach and Wagner? That's kind of a strange pairing.

What is it about their styles that you like? Being a fan of Bach, do you also enjoy music from those like Vivaldi?

And Wagner... good stuff, surely. But what about composers like Brahms and Mahler and Richard Strauss?

Great, I'll have to check that out.

Well, Bach and Wagner are both German, and I like how they complement one another: Bach's music strives for the characteristically Baroque over-intellectualization, while Wagner's music reeks of Romantic emotion. I made an iTunes playlist a couple months back that goes back and forth between the two, and it's really neat.

The others you mentioned are all composers I really need to listen to more often. If you have any suggestions, I'd be more than happy to give them a listen!

Debussy and Ravel are awesome. Haven't heard of Poulenc.

As for Satie, more like Sati"eh" am I right

Satie's Gnossiennes & Gymnopédies (Reinbert de Leeuw) is pretty much the third best thing ever recorded, behind Burial's Untrue and Sam Cooke's Live At Harlem Club, 1963.

that is all

Your newly founded dislike of me does not change the grossness that is cheesecake.
