Is that what it sounds like, people are making custom "campaigns" or whatever for L4D2 on PC?

That sounds pretty awesome. Thanks for the info! Can I set up four computers on LAN or wireless network and have them play together, or do they have to go online? One nice thing about the 360 version is I can set up an ad hoc wireless network then my buddies can hop on their 360s and we all meet up so long as we're in close proximity.

You can definitely do that with computers. However, each computer needs to have the custom campaign installed.

Er, unless you're talking about Cold Stream, which is an "officially-sponsored" community map that was patched into each game. But if its something from l4dmaps, for example, then each one has to have it.

Custom maps are pretty awesome! They extended the replay value of the game soooo dramatically. Even the really s****y ones are still fun to play with friends sometimes.

Alright, thanks. Gonna go about convincing my friends to rebuy this for PC tonight! Well one's a Mac user but it says it has cross platform play so hopefully that's all good.
