I love getting blink on Pudge. It's so much fun. Never had a chance to get blink on VS but man, VS with blink and a Scepter somehow would be incredibly annoying.

Yeah, it was a bot Zeus. We banned him, but ended up with a bot anyway. He didn't do much except for when he FREAKED THE HELL OUT near the 16 minute mark and spammed his ult for like 20 seconds straight. Was pretty hilarious. The Juggs isn't me, I was checking his items. I was Sven, and I had BKB. Was using it to wade through Clockwerk's missiles as I hunted him down.
I've discovered he's quite a bit of fun to play! Though me and Dante were going way too suicidal at times. Our allied bots were just jungling and farming all game so we were pushing and getting 5 man ganked way more than I'd care to admit.
Juggernauts spinning feels a bit weird -- when you're moving click PAST the enemy. If you click on them you'll move until you're in attack range and then stop... which is not what you want. But yeah, Juggs is probably not the best hero to start with.
Too bad Dante's internet is spazzing out on him or maybe we could be playing more...

Decided to play with a friend in some single drafts, he's good luck o.o
26/6/8 Bloodseeker (Won even though our Enchantress left at level 8)
20/3/something Juggernaut (First time so much fun)
5/6/20 Bounty Hunter (Got carried by a 26/1/15 Venomancer awwwww yeah)
This coming after a solo single draft where I got Anti-Mage, got forced to solo top against Juggernaut + Omniknight, went 3/3/2 with my team yelling at me to leave because apparently it's my fault for losing that lane when I get no help :(
I've only ever seen like one good Void in a pub. There was a REALLY bad one in a match I had last night with Bane, he'd pop like a water balloon whenever I gripped him.
On a related note, holy christ Bane is WAY too much fun if you really get rolling with him. I mean, the same is true of nearly every hero in DotA, but man did I have fun in that match.
Got Slardar, couldn't find a guide on LearnDota, decided to go in blind. Did well early laning then it fell apart :(
Then got Shadow Shaman, about the same thing, except I found a guide and I also like him much more. Never ended up getting beyond basic boots because the game was going so poorly, just got Eul's and became a CCbot
Slardar can be pretty versatile. He can take a semi-carry role or more of a initiator. Either way, R > W > Q > E. You can get one level of Bash early -- if you get lucky with it you can nab some early kills, but I usually just max Crush/Sprint instead.
Power Treads are the boots of choice. Give more health and faster attacks so you have a better chance of getting a bash. Armlet is really nice. I almost always pick it up on him. If you don't have a blink initiator already, get Blink Dagger. Blink + Crush is really good, and it makes Slardar even better at chasing/escaping. BKB is obviously a good choice as well.
I'm a fan of Halberd on Slardar. Great anti-carry item if theirs is getting a bit out of control. Desolator is probably the best item for raw damage -- ridiculous amount of armor shredding. You can go a Cuirass instead if the situation is appropriate. Usually your team will have more carries than it needs on it since you're playing solo, so I prefer a more durable Slardar rather than going for DPS items.

Okay so unless something disasterous happens for the 5th time or whatever in a row, the test server should update tonight! My expectations are pretty damn low at this point so I'm calling Shadow Demon and nothing else. >_>
Well, at least Shadow Demon is pretty damn slick, so if we're only getting one hero, I'm glad it's him! Let's hope the next two weeks are Lycan/Lone Druid and Lanaya/Mortred double packs! Anyway, I can't seem to get onto a test server to try SD out, so I guess I'll wait till tomorrow night! (Tales of Graces should keep me busy, anyway >_>)
Bit of mining started on the latest patch. The biggest thing to come out of it so far is that not only will every hero have injured idle/run animations, they'll also have unique animations for attacking while injured! Add in the chase animations we learned about awhile ago, and this is an unfathomable amount of visual polish, god damn. >_>
I think they should rename Shadow Shaman to Rhasta, and maybe Shadow Fiend/Demon to Nevermore/Eredar.
Having three Shadow X heroes (Shaman, Demon, Fiend) just seems silly -- especially when Demon and Fiend are so similar. Most people call SS Rhasta anyway.

Also there's an item you can buy (presumably) to get you out of low priority queue. Interesting.
It's gonna be weird seeing everyone with cosmetic stuff for each hero. The add-on items probably won't look as good as the defaults, so it's a bit disappointing for me.

From: Ness26 | #194 Hmm, Dota 2 confirmed to use TF2's crate system.

All of the ones so far look pretty good! If they continue to stick to hero-specific stuff, it should be fine.
