This is what I'm doing

I go to the save, then ....well..save, then tackle the turtle. If he drops an item, I proceed to the hall, murder all of the soldiers to refill my TP meter, go back, save again, and then restart the game, load it, then spawn the turtle and repeat

IF the turtle doesn't drop anything, I Just restart then and there. its a lot faster way to refill my TP meter and I lose nothing since I gained nothing

I think only the Trapezohedron and Dark Matter are expensive to purchase. How many Platinum Ingots have you gotten so far? I ended up needing to collect 54 Platinum Ingots, 3 Trapezohedron and 1 Dark Matter to get everything. That was with selling most of my inventory and dismantling my Genji Gloves for more Trapezohedron.

but thats lame

Not bad. I don't have very long to do it everyday, maybe an hour or two, so I haven't gotten any more Traps. I'm thinking I'm going to get all my main party's ultimate weapons and then go and do me some missions just to break it up.

There are weird people who don't like the technologically advanced settings of FFVII and FFVIII, and they want a more medieval setting like you get out of the old school games and FFIX because they feel like it takes away from the fantasy or whatever if there's too much technology or something.

Haven't finished the circle of death yet.

Doesn't matter, I just sold everything but the last 4 items, bought the dark matter, got the trophy, and reloaded.

Now all I have left is finishing the last four circle of death missions, and beating a long gui.

No. Got them all through drops.

Not really a waste though.

No point in farming too much more since I already had Master's Seal and it's not like I lost any items or anything since i just reloaded.

Don't have the money to completely max out the ultimate weapons though.
