I'm trying to study abroad next fall.

I have to write a two page essay on why I want to go and then there'll be an interview with the three people in charge of the program to see if I'm selected. I got my references submitted and my grades are much better than the required ones so I'm set in that department.

If you had to do this as well to get chosen, what kinds of things are they going to be asking in this interview? I've done a few job interviews, so will it be similar or will it be just rehashing why I'd be a good candidate to represent the university?

Any tips and insight on your process would be excellent and helpful!

Haven't done it myself, but they're certainly going to ask you why you want to do it.
Don't tell them it's because you want to s*** around for a semester, even if that's the truth.
