I'm kinda in a strange mood atm, well I've been that way for some days now I just want to turn my life around completely so I made that my resolution for this year. What about you guys? In which way do you want to better your life!? Asking for 2 reasons, first because I'm genuinely curious and 2 because reading about other people goals in life make me even more serious about reaching my own goals.

2. Get a $60k+ job in a place that doesn't suck

5. Get out of the country at some point
6. Code independently (not just for my job)
7. Tap into the cultural zeitgeist (basically read more books, watch more movies, listen to more music, etc.)

Haven't actually made resolutions, but some s*** I want to accomplish this year:

1. Secure two more research recs
2. Apply to grad school (hopefully successfully, but I won't find out until 2013!)
3. Use my free time more effectively (do something more useful than wasting hours at a time on the internet)
4. Generally get my s*** together (it is "together" pretty much only on the academic front)

nah, that's the guy who wrote it out. he transfered from my school after sophomore year and we had basically fallen out of touch until this winter break.
