I'd hang on to the XL. Those big screens are pretty glorious, and DS games don't look the best on 3DS, plus the battery life stinks. Well, DS games with 2D graphics, anyway. 3D graphics are already kinda blurry in most DS games, so it doesn't look much worse.

My question is, should I buy at DSi XL, given that I already have a DSi and a 3DS? Kinda interested in those big screens, but I'm having a hard time justifying the cost when it's the same price new as a 3DS. Think it'll come down anytime soon?

Depends if you have another DS. I actually I don't think I would either way, just get the normal 3DS.

I wouldnt say that's worth the money (comes from a person that has a DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL and 3DS, though the first DS got stolen)
