I just ignored it and figured it was another disposable comedy. But I left the TV on while reading and it came on and I found it... funny? It was actually... good?

I don't know anything about the show, but I was felt like it was just an average sitcom. I didn't realize how snappily written it was. It was more like Arrested Development or Community than more common shows. That's what surprised me.
