How is this game not frustrating? I keep dying over and over to the dumbest thing, but I never felt bad until this last death. It's like Super Meat Boy where each level takes hours instead of seconds.

I thought it would be frustrating, but it's not, that's the thing. I'm not disappointed with it either.

Also what do I do with Humanities?

If you hold onto humanity, you get higher Item Discovery (improved drop rates) and curse resistance. The latter won't be useful until later. You can use humanity to turn yourself human, which lets you do online stuff and kindle bonfires. You won't be able to kindle until later, though.

What kind of character are you using?

Basically a melee guy. I picked Thief but I've added a lot to strength and endurance and I got some new armor and shield and I use a longsword and sometimes the knife for narrow passages.

I guess I should try some long range stuff.
