It was current when he got it. Just unchanged since I was a little kid. It's pretty amazing.

My old dentist had a modded Xbox with emulators and stuff. Before that he had an N64, maybe other stuff too. Probably a Genesis at some point.

When I was a kid, the haircut place I went to not only had a Genesis, but every seat had a TV with cartoons, usually Animaniacs.

It was pretty neat.

My dentist when I was a kid had an arcade area with Donkey Kong, Pac Man, Pole Position II, and one other machine I can't remember. Also that swirly thing that was posted and some other toys.

I remember the novocaine being the most painful thing in the world, the needle just sticking in there. I barely even felt it this time though. The painful part is keeping my mouth open for an hour as my throat fills up with saliva, water, and whatever chemicals he's messing with in there and doing my best not to choke. Man that was bad. Glad it's over with.

In the middle of sealing it, he decides to just start talking to his assistant about the Survivor finale. That was just crazy to me. Here I am, hearing them, but unable to say anything in return, like, how I don't want something spoiled! I'm just helpless to stop them.

Yeah it would be so easy to steal the stack of games. They're low budget over there so his assistant is also the receptionist. Every time I walk in, there's nobody around. I could just start pocketing cartridges if I wanted. I almost sat down and plugged in NBA Jam but I was too shy.

They even have one of those phone toys that's in Toy Story on a shelf. Crazy little play section for kids unchanged since the 90s.
