50(?) of us have gone through the entire battle bracket - short of an astounding collapse from Link - without getting a single match wrong. Regardless of your opinions on this contest this is still quite the achievement.
ITT we celebrate our ~perfection~.
And to the poor souls who got the match right but the % wrong, you're invited too. You still got all the matches right!
(oh and I guess that legendmusketeer guy is also invited)

I'm salty with SBAllen for not making the secondary tiebreaker clear enough. I wasn't sure it was the time submit for the final wager. I thought it was the time submitted for the first battle pick or something, because that's what "time submitted" has meant for the last ten years.
Had I known for sure, I would have been the first guy to Straight Bet on Link.
I don't think Allen would excel in HR or communications. This isn't even the first time he's had a communication snafu in this contest.

perfect battle bracket in this contest is like getting a perfect in the series contest... Yeah it's nice, but it's sort of like "ho-hum, not really legit."
not to rain on your parade or anything.

Still disappointed we didn't get to choose the min/max for our picks, but on the bright side, at least the Trainers beat Cloud & Seph. I shall celebrate that instead~!

My understanding is that it's the second tiebreaker, as it's always been.
Betting X points on Link/Ganon's winning percentage <-- part of the contest, not a "tiebreaker" # votes this match would receive (that you submitted prior to the contest) <-- "first tiebreaker" time submitted <-- "second tiebreaker"

If anything, I'm salty with Allen for changing the rules mid-contest, and for setting up the final pick in a ridiculous, awkward manner.
First, you don't rewrite the rules 2 months into a contest. He must have seen the 60 perfects (at the time) and thought "Why not screw some people over?" The previous deal was that we'd get to potentially double our points via a straight pick, and I was more than happy that Link/Mario would be a predictable match (in terms of outcome, not exact %.) I'd have been more than fine with doing that despite a crappy tiebreaker. And I would have gone with a straight pick if it weren't for the mass sentiment that you had to go for a narrower pick or risk going this far only to end up with an entry that's not competitive for winning prizes.
Second, the way Bacon implemented it was terrible. You should have been allowed to set your own min/max and scores would be determined by how wide your range is. I would have been more comfortable setting a 15% bound or a 10% bound where I could define my own endpoints. Not only was the drop-down list a clusterf*** there will be some ties at each level.

I guess I should be upset that I am not getting a perfect battle because Allen did kind of change the rules last second in a very lame way. But, I had fun with it so I don't really care.

I'm sure Allen didn't expect to have 50 perfects at the end and if he had kept it the same then we would have had a 50-way tie for first. What he did wasn't perfect (no pun intended), but it got the job done.
Anyone who is upset with it is probably just bitter that they screwed up and finished with 0.
