not exactly my choice because of all the bugs ive heard are present in the game(personally i think a game that is riddled with bugs on release shouldnt be a contender for goty)
i probably would have gone with skyward sword or uncharted. portal 2 as great of a game as it is, is not worth the nomination considering the things they took out of the game(the harder puzzles)

not really problematic? ive seen one of my classmates start a game and no more than 1 minute in during the opening scene get a dragon fall out of the sky onto the cart and force him to restart, or the pot glitch where a cooking pot can one hit instant kill you by walking under it.
if i were them i would have waited a couple months, hell even a few weeks to iron out some of the glitches they had before releasing. Having any glitches that are immediately noticeable at launch is just embarrasing

im not complaining about the game. Its a good game. Im just saying that from my perspective a game that has bugs and major issues with it on launch should not be game of the year material.
Sure I never played the game(I intend to in a few months when a few patches are released for it)(btw never said I never played it before this post)
also i dont rely on things i read on the internet, this is from me watching my 3 friends play their copies of skyrim, each having their own little issues. Now that being said, they still play the game, just making sure to save often just incase, and ill still remain to watch them play it til my game library is exhausted and i pick it up myself(currently working on a dark souls playthough, with zelda and a couple others on the side which will last me a couple months)
