I'm catching up with season 7 now, so I haven't seen the newest episode. But so far I've been more annoyed than entertained. It seems they have a new gimmick where they use a joke twice in one episode. At least for the first three episodes. What I'm talking about is, like in the first episode "remember when I told you Marshall ruined the wedding? Well... this isn't it." Then the second episode "and they really cheered/chanted" and the third was Barney's stupid hash tagging thing.

It just annoyed me. None of them were even that funny the first time, let alone a second.

Hopefully the episodes improve. I had a lot of hope when Victoria showed up, I was actually excited... then that fell through. Robin seems to have regressed and become even more annoying, though I am digging her new hairstyle. Makes her look attractive.

I was left cold by this weeks ep. It felt like a real good chance to make some actual story progress and they threw it away for a fleeting sad moment that doesn't appear to change anything.

HOLY CRAP. On episode 5 now, Robin has a fear of abandonment just like me. I suddenly like her a little now. Never thought that would happen.

I just watched it. That was really sad. Still not as sad as Marshall's dad dying.

Also we know who Barney's bride is gonna be. It's pretty obvious. I guess there's a chance they're making it obvious to surprise us with it being someone else like Nora. I hope that doesn't happen.
