Wesker can be a battery, an anchor, assist monkey, pretty much anything. And with one bar he becomes permanently supercharged.

I'm not sure what they were intending with Wesker. why would you use someone like Spiderman, who needs 43958498 hits to do 800k damage with very high execution, when you can use Wesker, who can do the same amount of damage in a magic series combo that's impossible to drop?

Black Turtle did a pretty good job.

One theory is that they thought Wesker was going to become the new Iceman: a character whose ease of use and effectiveness shines early, but then starts to wane as new technology is discovered while they're stuck with their old stuff.

But that seems more like an unavoidable side-effect, not something you try to fix preemptively.

So I was playing against my brother earlier and he was being a loser wesker and I was Felicia and we were both at really low HP so he's phantom dancing like mad, and just randomly I was like "gonna do it" so I waited two seconds, then used Dancing Flash and hit Wesker with it out of phantom dance and KO'd him aw yeah.
