Men and women both have problems with media representation and uneven policies etc.

The difference is that men don't have decades of like Women's rights advocates and Feminist movements.

The difference is that men didn't need that.

It's easy to dismiss the other side as being biased, but please try to keep in mind your own biases. If you haven't seen the other side, don't act like you know what you're talking about.

Also, things like "3 sizes" smaller has no real meaning without a point of reference. I guess it also depends on what you mean by size too. Like, I know that if you're like a size 5 (~28") getting to a size 2 (~25") could seem like a hassle. But then you only have to lose 1 inch to drop from a 2 to a 0.

It's the whole "size 6 is plus sizes for models" thing. (And to be fair I was mentally dividing by 2, because women's waist sizes skip every second size for some reason). I'm like...size 10-12, which looks fairly skinny on my frame (I'm tall) but I'd need to get to size 4-6 if I wanted to model. Which...yeah, no. When I was size 8, I was borderline underweight for my height. Not going to happen in a remotely healthy way.

Well for women, for me at least, a flat stomach is really all you need. Anything more than a flat stomach is distinctly unattractive, and a lot less, like showing bones or something, is also distinctly unattractive.

If the media is making women go for flat stomachs, I'm all for that, but if they're making them go for the bony look, then that's bad.
