and it might not be back until Wednesday night. This is f***ing unbelievable and I'm getting furious.

At my grandparents' house right now for Internet usage. Have a generator at home for some electricity but gas is expensive and filling it is annoying, and no cable/Internet. Missed football yesterday.

At least I filled out my bracket the other day!

Apparently it caused a lot of downed trees and wires. Yesterday I saw one tree down across wires further down our road, and that part of the road was closed, but it was cleaned up today. There's still like 85,000 people without power in the eight-county area,

There were still a lot of weakened/half-uprooted trees left around from Hurricane Irene, so that could've been a factor.

What I heard the problem was is that since the snow came so early in the season, most of the trees still had leaves on, so more snow collected on them than during a normal winter snowfall. The added weight from the extra snow caused more trees to come down.
