This is provided that you don't take it too seriously. We have an awesome community, and I like to think a lot of us genuinely care in some respect about the well-being of the people we interact with on an almost daily basis here. There will always be people who hide behind their anonymity and entertain themselves, but overall, I like to think many of us are great people. Acceptance into the community may take some work--a lot of us have been here a long time and are comfortable and have matured with each other--but I think if you are an overall chill and respectful person, admission shouldn't be a problem.

I consider a lot of you friends when I know there's a good chance I'll never meet any of you ever. Meaningful relationships can be developed on Board 8 pretty easily if you let them, even if all they amount to are goofing off at random. There's a reason why people who say they are leaving always come back. It's because this place is, in general, awesome.
