Apparently he somehow got hepatitis and its destroying his liver, they're saying hes not gonna make it
This doesn't affect us directly too much. He left my mom's family when she was like, 3, when her little sister was born to be exact. He never did a good job keeping in contact with my family and he ended up making another family else where. My mom has only seen him like, twice, since he left. and both times she was already an adult. but nevertheless, my mom has always felt things very strongly and shes been very sad at the news. I know its not good when a human dies, but I can't feel too bad for him. I mean, I feel sorry this is happening, but I've only met him once in my whole life, that and the whole abandoning his family thing, it doesn't stir many feelings. I only feel bad cause of my mom, this situation is making her cry and that makes me feel bad
its also pretty stupid shes about to lose her dad and he lost her husband in the same month.
so yea
in other news, my badass uncle is doing great, hes undergoing therapy for his cancer and hes still strong as an Ox
Huh. Well that sucks. If it's any consolation, I've never met my grandfather on my dad's side even once, he abandoned his family before I was born, my dad hates him, and no one I know would bat a lash if he died tomorrow.

Sorry to hear your mom is down about it. My grandfathers were both dead before I was born, but they were both abusive jerks anyway, so I don't feel like I lost much by not knowing them.
