I've heard rumors that there are multiple player characters. So maybe the old white guy and the younger black guy? The guy in the car looked Hispanic kind of. I'd love to play as a Korean guy to be honest. Hopefully they all play differently if this is the case.

One rumor at Kotaku and TheMagicBox:

"Kotaku reported that Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V will take place in a fiction city resembling Los Angeles, and it will feature more than one playable character."

Who knows where the rumor came from, but if true that'd be very cool to have multiple characters.

R* doesn't have anything for 2012. They had LA Noire and RDR this year, so they need something for next year. I'm gonna say exactly 1 year from now.

If we go by releases dates for GTA4 and RDR then GTA5 would most likely be around April to May.

That was how it was for GTA3/VC/SA. They might want to give Max Payne some breathing room though, so it wouldn't be surprising if they pushed GTA5 to October.

This is so disarmingog.

It's always just back and forth between NYC and LA, with Miami thrown in once. All they care about are the coasts. Most likely because these games are made by foreigners. You know that, right? It's made in Europe. They're making fun of Americans. So, that's why they think those are the only areas that matter. They could make an amazing new experience in Las Vegas or Chicago but no, they just gotta rehash the same bullcrap.

One thing Rockstar knows how to do, is cinematic Hollywood-flavor trailers. Its gonna be a damn fine looking sandbox game, that's for sure

You do realize that in GTA: San Andreas, San Andreas is a state, right? It's mostly based on California, but also part of Nevada. In other words, Las Vegas.

Although, I agree. I would like to see new areas. New York is way overdone, and I feel GTA IV should have been done in a bigger area (why not Boston and Washington DC?). I'd like to see Chicago, Detroit, or another city. I say this despite being from the Los Angeles area, and living here for my whole life.

Since I'm going to LA almost every day now, I'd pretty excited to see what they'll do for LA and if they will do it right. In a selfish way, I'm glad it is in Los Santos, but at the same time, I'd love to see GTA go somewhere new. It'd be better for the series.

And hey, nobody knows if it is just Los Santos or if it is San Andreas. For all we know, it could be the whole West Coast, extending up to Seattle.

Yeah, it's definitely not Tommy. I mean, he'd be at least 60 now, and he sounds younger than 80's Tommy. Plus, it doesn't even really sound like him in the first place...

I'm hoping for the following cameos:
Older CJ. Maybe as a quest giver, or just a friend of someone who tags along in a mission.
Donald Love. Finally finding out what was in that box. Or maybe not.

It also can't be Tommy if they're taking the Easter Egg in GTA4 seriously that had all the old protagonists' listed as dead. But I don't know if they are.
