Board 8 > graphic violence almost never bothers me, but man Boardwalk Empire [spoilers]

I've seen dozens and dozens of horror movies, all the notably violent tv shows there are, but the two scenes in tonight's Boardwalk Empire were perhaps the most brutal things I've seen in fiction - the only thing I can think of that comes close is the achilles tendon scene in Hostel

Aww man I loved it. I could think of a couple of scenes that compare to the rage one but the poetic justice one was something else.

the rage one wasn't bad until that last top down shot where you see what exactly happened and then there's that one last totally unnecessary blow where it all moves in an unnatural way
