Dungeon variety is the name of the game this time. Temples place less of an emphasis on moving from room to room. Locations are weird and fascinating. The dungeons are more linear (unlike what we heard at E3) and shorter. They say not to worry about dungeon length, though - there's so much more going on in-between levels that usual pace of Zelda games becomes blurred by the many mini-dungeons, hidden paths, mysterious caves, and unexpected, tangential adventuring. Linearity, similarly, doesn't feel too flat and seems to improve the pacing of the levels.
As much as I like ragging on Skyward Sword, you really have to read that whole section. -- http://img.imgcake.com/nio/2bigwigpngut.png ... Copied to Clipboard!

Did they decide to get rid of Skyloft at the last minute?
I highly doubt Nintendo would remove such an important part of the game at the last minute. -- Thanks for reinforcing your stupidity, jerks. Einstein > You ... Copied to Clipboard!

- most refined telling of the classic Legend of Zelda story
Considering Nintendo's method of storytelling as of late, this is not a good thing. - basic enemies change and get harder as you progress Nothing new here but good to know. - flail the Wiimote around you will scare away the bugs ..... - high level upgrades require rarer treasures to use as materials Oh hey Monster Hunter. With probably without the Monster Hunting. - dungeons are more linear and shorter - still find the typical "find item, use against boss" formula in this game welp - takes new and old toys, mixes them with puzzles you thought you knew, to make them fresh all over again Sounds Promising. So yeah I will be 100% dissapointed in this. - "Skyward Sword is not only one of the best-looking games on the Wii, but one of the best-looking games out this Christmas on any platform you care to mention." Like its hard to not look bloom and gloom looked like the rest was typical Nintendo hype wagglin mumbo jumbo. -- Nice catch BlAcK TuRtLe. But too bad your ass got SAAAAAAAAAAACKED.*tackles* ... I'm actually looking forward to what they've cooked up with the dungeons, and I love the news about mini-dungeons and secret caves populating the overworld. I was a big fan of that lengthy cave system in Lake Hylia (Twilight Princess) and thought the game shoulda featured more of that sort of thing.
