Last contest, Majora's Mask totally ruined my bracket (Don't get me wrong MM is my favorite Zelda game to date). Since contest vets are more familiar with how these things work. How would you say my Bracket would fare?
Also Nintendofaqs so Link/Ganon shall win.I hope not though myself.

GameFaqs is NOT the place to go for relationship advice.Nobody here gets any action unless it is their right or left hand.Including me.~Dawn and Dusk~
Nope, the Bosses is going to beat Tidus/Jecht with relative ease.
I was hoping Jecht would have the contest strength of Auron and since Auron > both the Bosses and Tidus >= The Boss, I thought they would have the edge. Anyways I think that match is gonna be relatively close. Sora/Riku vs. Dante/Vergil also seems like a toss up to me. Then again anything could be possible in the early stages. A Pokemon glitch beating Crono still haunts me to this day.
In all fairness, Phoenix Wright is quite decent in Contests. Since Tidus is above a mid-carder and Jecht slightly more maybe, I think they have a decent shot against the Bosses.
I think I'll look at Big Boss's strength in the previous contests. I'm sure it's died down a bit after MGS3 and 4. If not then I guess I'll make the first change in my bracket.
Not having played MGS...is Big Boss/The Boss a significant rivalry? Feel free to spoil it (but obviously put a spoiler warning for the sake of everyone else!) Of course, even if it's not, Big Boss is still strong. However, not exactly leagues about Tidus. And Jecht is about on par with The Boss. Maybe Tidus/Jecht isn't such a bad pick.

"Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. So...what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think."

Well, game-wise I'd say Big Boss/The Boss is a significant rivalry to the MGS series. It also produced one of the best endings in a game ever and is also one of the best PS2 games of all time (thats saying a lot since PS2 IMO has the best and biggest library from all systems). That being said, contests don't work that way. I'd give both Tidus and Jecht the edge over The Boss. But looking at previous contests it looks like Big Boss trumps them both quite comfortably. Afterall Tidus did get 73-27'ed by Squall once. I don't remember Big Boss losing to anyone that badly. So looks like my research continues.
If I had to pick from the four based on a personal opinion of them as a character then it would be Jecht > Big Boss > Tidus > The Boss
But contest-wise it looks like Big Boss > Jecht > Tidus > The Boss
Wow that is rough ^_^. But yeah Big Boss has gotten a lot stronger since. I don't think Tidus would break 35% on Mario like Big Boss did. And back then MGS3 wasn't as loved as it is right now. MGS3 proved it is the strongest in contest strength from the series excluding the original of course.
Since Squall 73-27'ed Tidus Auron 72-28'ed Big Boss (Big Boss being at his weakest)
and Squall slightly > Auron
It looks like Big Boss is way > Tidus and Jecht at his current strength
Which results in me changing my R16 bracket to Samus/Ridley > Big Boss/The Boss
Another poll that shows Big Boss's dominance in these contests. I mean 48% against Kirby and 2 Nintendo fodders is very impressive, neither Tidus nor Jecht would break 45% on Kirby alone. Yeah, a good idea to switch to Samus/Ridley > The Bosses.
