I'm fully prepared to make the switch to Amazon from Gamestop, but while lining up my first few purchases here it seems I've received some bad information. I I can't get my games for 5+ days after they come out, that's a pretty big problem!

I think you can still get a year free of Amazon Prime if you have a student account (edu e-mail adress). I am not sure though.

Guess I can take advantage of that and just cancel it at the end of the six months if I don't think it's worth it.

I think it auto-cancels, or at least it did when mine ended. It's not something I'd shell $50-80 a year for, but it was a cool little bonus to have.

Cancelled my order on Batman Arkham City so I could reorder it with free same day shipping, almost cancelled my Dark Souls guide order. Seeing as they're already triple the price that would've been pretty bad. >_>
