Got there around 1:30pm. No game. Told it would be there a few hours later. I go to Subway and an art store. I come back. The game is there. It's not the collectors edition. It's just standard version.

From what I've heard it's a problem because of Namco. They didn't expect so many pre-orders and they ended up running out or something. Amazon had the same problem.

Ouch. From the sounds of it, Namco/From Software really botched the collectors edition, which is awful, because bonuses similar to what they offered are an incentive for the customer to spend their money on a product. If a company can't/won't follow through with their promises, there's little reason to give them $60 for a product you can get cheaper a few months down the line.

Yeah, I see a deal on Best Buy's website where you get a $10 gift card and free shipping if you buy the game. I'm pretty annoyed though. I'm thinking I'm just going to wait until Black Friday and pick the game up for half off with a new TV.

Nah I'm done pre-ordering. I'm not even sure I'll play Guild Wars 2 with Dota 2 on the horizon. GW2 looks great. We'll see what happens.
