Jam is Midway.

Im positive on this as Blitz is also Midway and that shares the same philosophy Jam does.

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. But I liked a lot of Midway's arcade games, even if they were terribly balanced to force you to insert more credits(Smash TV/Total Carnage, Narc, MK series, NBA Jam series, NFL Blitz, Hydro Thunder, etc).

Midway games for the most part were pretty decent/fun. Aww yeah Smash TV

Akklaim was **** though yeah. Turok is like the only series they made that I liked and they manage to screw that up eventually.

I remember renting Turok Wars back when I was a kid and fan of the first couple games. I remember thinking it was the first time I had seen a series go off the rails so fast. It was a poor attempt to cash in on the arena-based shooting games that were popular back in the day like Quake and Unreal Tournament.

...I miss arena-based shooters like Quake and UT :(

UT2004 was great, I think people still play that, which makes my heart happy, but UT3 ditched a lot of what made the series great, like the art direction and the Assault/Onslaught mode, among other things. That was in 2007, and Epic Games said they STILL aren't making any Unreal games at this time. I mean, Gears of War 3 is FANTASTIC and all but...I want more good UT :(
