Romance within the group, just doesn't sit well with me. Britta/Jeff hookups are fine since they are in fact...hookups, and it fits their characters anyway. But like REAL dating? , I don't want any study group members being in a relationship with another study group member. Although personally, I'd prefer Community to keep romance mostly out of the picture entirely. Slow burn, lots of character stuff before they get into the meat and potatoes, setting up conflicts to come (Dean/Vice Dean, Mean Clique, Overcoming oneself - Annie's perfection, Jeff's vanity, Britta's dares to be stupid, the group's exclusions), and it's all prologue. These writers have been amazing so far, and their foreshadowing hilarious and brilliant (Row Boat Cop Abed's list of things to come and the notebook schedulings, and DAT PHONE MESSAGE... lol Changbabies) so this season looks like, while not immediately hysterical, will be huge in terms of storytelling and it's just going to get even funnier with time.
