Board 8 > So... I've been coming here on and off for about a year now...

My observations so far:

(Disclaimer: Opinions subject to change. Remember, I've only been here for about a year.)

Board 8 is an elitist social board that is heavily oriented toward contests (duh, contests).
It is pretty legit, and the most serious business of contests can be found here.

The users are fairly considerate, some less than others. I think it's somewhere around 30% easy to get along with (maybe more), 10% not so easy to get along with (maybe slightly more), and 60% percent undefined. Again, there seems to be an elitist mindset about the place.
There are a wide variety of people here.
Edit: Most of the users are also competitive.

One should be knowledgeable and tenacious to make a name for himself here.

So far, I give it: Approx. 6.6/10!
Pretty good on my scale. I think I'll be sticking around.

TC is completely off.

I am the only recognizable user, and hence the most epopular. Everyone else is actually an alt of 3 people, anri, ulti, and palmer, who are all a little less epopular than me, but im the best hands down

Considering that I'm being pretty critical, the score I gave Board 8 really isn't that bad.

There has only been a few boards that I'd rank higher than that.

Sometimes I think I sense elitism, but it might just be an occasional thing and nothing big.

Ace started off last year as kind of bad. IIRC he came last contest season and wasn't so hot at first. he seems to have calmed down since then.

it's also possible I'm thinking someone else entirely.
