Why do people want Brandon gone already? He shows signs of being like an oldschool contestant who is more conflicted with emotional dilemmas rather than being an emotionless gamebot like most post-Palau players.

Oh yeah, I rewatched the premiere earlier in the week. Meant to post more thoughts from the second watch.

I don't know why I originally ranked Mikayla low on my first watch. She was pretty positive, and seemed likable.

Not only do Sophie and Alina look very similar, but they kind of seem to have a similar role of narrating and being skeptical.

Getting a Marty vibe from Jim. I feel like he might be turned into a villain of sorts, but a logical one that isn't doing stuff out of emotion or to be mean. Just someone who happens to be against "favorites" like Ozzy. Sort of hoping for this too, to be honest.

Semhar was even more awful than I thought. She was almost unbearable on the rewatch. Sooo glad she was booted first.

Brandon may have a storyline beyond being a gamebot, but his storyline is awful, it is about how he wants to be a nice guy, but then immediately starts acting like a total creep because mikayla is attractive and making him uncomfortable because he loves jesus. it isn't even entertaining, he is just gross. and other then that all he has done is repeat to us like 4 times that he is russels nephew but he sure isn't gonna tell anyone....while this is an interesting story, I don't need to be hit over the head with it. So, call him more like the 'oldschool' contestants all you want, but he would have been one of the oldschool contestants that were awful.

I don't understand the whole Russel Hanz nephew thing. I didn't think Russel was such an awful player to be honest, though I don't really remember all that well.

Someone care to fill me in on why he was so evil and bad and what not, and why it really makes a difference I would appreciate it.

I like the drama/paranoia it causes, but they need to find a new way to do it or take it away for awhile, because now people all know about it and everyone is just finding it without clues. that was hilarious the first time, now it is just old.

Well, all my hopes of liking Brandon are pretty much dashed. He's basically Russell 4.0, but lacking the aura that Russell had that made people do what he said, making him a completely useless player.

Christine shot herself in the foot from the minute she called Coach "temporary" and continued to shoot herself in the foot until she got voted out. Suffice to say she's pretty much guaranteed to win at least one duel.

Aside from Brandon likening her to "Poverty," (who she's getting edited nothing like), Mikayla is totally getting the winners edit right now IMO.

Coach effectively screwed himself at TC, but it could have no effect on a win if Christine and Stacey are both gone pre-merge.

At this point the whole Russell thing is purely a ratings thing, and for that reason CBS refuses to admit that there is actually a decent percentage of loyal fans who are sick of him and his family.
