Yeah, they could really stand to overhaul the presentation. I like the idea they have for a battle system, though. It'd be cool if you choose each Final Fantasy and play through it with tunes from each game.

this response is way more positive than I expected.

I actually think it looks kinda fun too, but in the $5 IOS game kind of way instead of as a 3DS game. it could be cool if they really expanded on the content but the chances of that seem pretty slim.

Wish they made it a full retail title on the 3DS. Oh well. They really could've upped the atmosphere that way.

I'm a little surprised how many dislikes the video has considering it seems to be mostly viewed by Japanese people. They really hate this as much as everyone else?

Yeah, the people hating on this video are just taking things way too seriously. This should be fine short spinoff for $5, and it has potential to actually become something pretty good if they were to carry the ideas farther.

Looking up more info on this, it supposedly will have over 50 songs, three game modes, and a story/overworld feature.

Still doesn't seem worth full price, especially when you factor in how S-E usually overprices their handheld games.

I don't see a problem with using Final Fantasy as a theme for a game like this. It's a more interesting game for it, just because there is so much history there to pull from. My main concern would be that they waste this cool idea by not doing something interesting with it.

A lot of the Mario sports spinoffs suck too, so I don't know what people are talking about. Lately Nintendo has gotten in the habit of making a super simplified version of a sport, inserting Mario characters, and calling it a day.
