How'd you like it?

Didn't really get much of a feel! Pretty much just got through the introduction.

Yeah, it takes a little time to get acquainted with how it works. The introduction also is a little slow, sort of like TP, but once you get past it there's just so much good. Top 3 game!

It has a better story, better world building, a much better villain, it's more RPG and less cover shooter, and it's just a more interesting game. ME2 isn't bad, but it does plenty worse.

Mass Effect 2: It's got a better inventory system, better characters and character interaction, better powers, better shooting mechanics, no Mako, no repetitive "dungeons" while making each side mission truly unique, better breaks in the standard gameplay.

I mean, the only reason there's more shooting is because it's a longer game. ME1 was already a short game and a good deal of it felt padded out.

Relative to other RPGs, yeah, it's not terribly long. Unfortunate. And yes, I realize this is kind of a null point since it involves paying for something thrice and all... but Shepard's adventure in full is at least guaranteed to be quite impressively lengthy once we combine the trilogy.
