It seems that guys can throw the word around a lot easier, and bring themselves to say it without thinking of the consequences or knowing the full depth of the word, on the other hand, girls really pour their heart out when they say it.

This is what I was thinking. I keep hearing girls throw it around all the time, like it doesn't mean anything big or like it's just a greeting.
On the other hand, it's only once in a blue moon that I even hear a guy say, "love."
