Ugh I forgot that even came out.

I felt Red Faction Guerilla was a really underrated game (at least in that despite a terrible story and ridiculous coloring, it was an awesome sandbox game with geomod) and was so excited for a sequel... then they're like "Yeah let's take the worst parts of each of the three games and mash them together into one"

Armageddon had comedic geniuses working on it!

*SPOILERS*

Darius Mason accidentally causing not 1, but 2 gigantic disasters. And then, literally 15 seconds after he kisses the girl, she dies. Literally 15 seconds. I was stunned at the sheer stupidity of it, then the cutscene ended and I started laughing really hard. And after defeating the big bad alien queen, Darius decides to try repairing the Terraformer. Although, I remember hearing from one of the audio logs that the EDF or something told him that it wouldn't work, but still.

*END SPOILERS*

Worst story? More like best story.

I went in to DNF thinking I'd get a bad game with DUKE.

I got a terrible game with a crappy version of Duke.

Serve returned, DNF is a groovy game.

Who knows, personal taste, yaddayadda, easily the best FPS game in many years for me.

Disappointment for the players though ! A lot of people who bought it expected a better game.

Also yeah DA2 is up there, it sold extremely poorly compared to DA1.

Not a dissapointment to all players, some still bet on Duke. Also I loved Dragon Age II, goes to show ya.

I guess its because games have the mechanics aspect to them where people think it's more objective and will go by the general consensus. But its still entertainment/arts, it's all personal preference. It'd be weird if my taste's always agreed with the common consensus. To me Gamespot etc giving DNF super low scores is hilarious, when it's the best single-player FPS campaign since Half-Life 2 easily, but that's just my taste.
