It's whatever online you reasonably expect Nintendo to give to a... let's call it a 2013 release. Brawl's online remains what it is now.

2. You're a tourney player. What if Melee Online reignites the Melee tourney scene?

1. It'd be cool to play B8ers for lulz and such, but it's not like any of y'all would present much of a challenge ;]. And I don't particularly come here that much anymore anyway.
2. Melee's tourney scene is still going strong, though of course the boost to the tourney scene would be tremendous and much welcomed. In NC where I live, the melee scenes actually stronger then the brawl scene x.x it sucks.

If Melee and Brawl both had online play of solid quality, I'd play both, depending on who was playing what on Board 8.

But if I were just going to play random people online, I'd play Brawl.

Yeah, Melee's competitive scene is still pretty strong.

Online Brawl doesn't work, hell online any fighting game doesn't see to work on a professional level, so Melee which is crazy-ass on a technical level, would be horrendous online.
