Luckily I managed to take advantage of it before it ended!
It was this "Why Rent?" promotion where they had this list of games you could buy and then return within a week for full value (just in a GameStop giftcard form), so I bought Portal 2 for PS3, got the PC version for free from it, and returned it!
Hooray for free Portal 2!
