Only one I can think of involves the first girl I fell in love with, and of course that involves a lot of pain and I don't really feel like talking about it at all... I don't know what to do, no matter how deep I dig, I can't remember any person, place, thing, or event that has affected me as much as... that.

Yeah but this is a place that has changed me over time, it's gotta be a story about something that has basically instantly changed you, from what I can tell.

On the board 8 theme, talk about the first time you met someone from the internet in real life and how it instantly made you feel like a better person just by seeing that these people are real
Would but it were relevant! There is ever the chance -- however slim -- we're all machinations of some ravenous mind regardless. No reason to call a spade a spade; our ignorance can be our enjoyment!
If one wishes to believe they can enter and analyze the human mind then who are we to stop them!
It won't work on me anyway... I'm Irish!

CrimsonOcean posted... Psychology 101 is the reason I'm am architect instead of a psychologist :]
Partly Hi-Jacking the topic but anyway...Is Architect a good job? I'm not decided but I've always been relatively good at Technical Drawing so Architecture is still on the table. ---
I always hated this prompt when I was in high school. Unless you had a close relative or friend die, there's really not much there for most kids. And if there is something there, it's probably too traumatic or personal for them to write a stupid paper for a class about (ie rape, pregancy, physical or sexual abuse, drug use, coming out etc.) So instead, everyone just makes up B.S. to fill three pages: 9/11, Columbine, when they broke their leg, when they fought with their friend or girlfriend/boyfriend, or something else that didn't really make them change at all.
When you're in high school and college you basically are in a perpetual state of change/figuring out who you are, so this assignment is really just a huge waste of time. Only a few people will actually have had life altering events happen to them before the age of 21.
I'm actually interested in architecture as well, I've always enjoyed the idea of creating buildings, that's why whenever I played a Sims game, I would spend all my time making the best house I could, and then when it came to actually taking care of the Sims I got bored and stopped playing.

And in my defense, I'm still getting used to being up this early on a daily basis for school, I'm tired and my head doesn't seem to be on straight right now...

But yeah architecture is a good major. Jobs at firms are difficult to get right now unless you're willing to live in LA or NYC, but there are plenty of alternatives. I will say that it's not an easy major and you have to be really dedicated or you'll fall behind really easily. Be prepared to not sleep for a day or more at a time to finish a project that your critics will likely hate anyway.
