The 999 team releases information on its next project, titled Gyokugen Dasshutsu Adv: Zennin Shiboudes. It's a game for 3DS and Vita (I'm still not sure if this is a multiplatform release or if it's two separate games), has a similar premise to 999 and has some returning characters (or at the very least, characters with striking resemblances to 999 characters). Aw yeah 999 guys. I remember reading somewhere that their future prospects depended on how well the game did in America. Good to see they're still kicking.
KamikazePotato posted... It did great in America, yeah. Pretty sure it's sales in Japan were pitiful, for whatever reaosn.
Probably because they have plenty of VNs like that whereas America has few. Kinda like how Ever 17 was more popular in America but an afterthought in Japan.

Surprised this isn't getting more talk.

Because they've been doing it for years and is very successful for them.
It's crappy, but most of Microsoft's policies tend to be like that. It benefits them, though, so from an internal business perspective you can say it's "alright." All it means is that XBLA games can go to PSN at some point, but not vice versa. It's a weird policy, but it ensures that they can either get exclusivity for a short time or day and date.
