I'm more impressed with the TV Show now by how closely it kept to the novel. The only glaring difference I remember (having watched the show first and read the book after) is Tyrion getting knocked out before the big battle in the show and actually wrecking some shop and getting wounded in the novel. Also the telling of Tyrion's first wife story moving from just Bronn right after leaving the Eyrie to Bronn and Shae right before the battle.
Happy fun times, A++, etc.
On to Clash of Kings.

If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? [HERO'S PLUNGE] http://img.imgcake.com/finegifdy.gif
It's a very good TV show regardless, so there shouldn't be any problem in that. The only true positive that I gained from it (imo) is now I read the character's voices in my head from the show.

Oh also the guy in the prologue who gets his head lopped off by Ned changes in the show for some reason. I found that odd but forgot about it initially.
