Wouldn't say that either! Most of the best storyline moments are in the second disc. It's just a matter of knowing that each of them could have had a few hours of time to themselves and didn't receive that proper treatment that stings for me.

Comparatively bad. Anyone whose played Xenogears knows what I mean by that. Though how much of a letdown it is varies, I suppose.

Brawl has problems that go way beyond just being slower, though that does make the game a lot less fun.

Brawl easily beats Melee when it comes to character cast and soundtrack, which are the two most important components of a Smash game for me. I like Melee more because Brawl has slightly worse singleplayer and fails spectacularly everywhere else.

I'll toss Shrek Superslam into the ring. The core combat is fantastic (the best elements of Powerstone and Smash Bros). But the menus are a horrible abomination made at the last minute, and the character balance has some significant issues.

Sonic 2006.

If only they hadn't rushed to get it out in time for Sonic's 15th Anniversary, then maybe they could've reconsidered the bestiality angle and actually tested the game to make it fun (Okay, probably not, but a man can dream).

Oh wait, this is about a good game that could've been amazing. I was thinking of a bad game that could've been good.
