Looks really cool. I have to say I doubt there will be many games where I care about the individual grains of dirt, but I love mapping and the detail they showed was great.

not gonna happen for a long time. none of those scenes are animated. they're still pictures. there's no physics emulation or animation to deal with. even rendering that would take ages on any personal computer.

Then there's still the problem of convincing a game company's art team to spend two days working on a tree when they could just spend a few hours for a polygon model
