I've only seen the first movie and parts of the third one... Never really got into it but I remember them being decent. And with Deathly Hollows pt. 2 getting excellent reviews and stuff, it sparked some interest. .... It's worth it, right? I mean... that's a lot of hours of film to watch, they better be good!

Well if you ever do decide to get into reading, Harry Potter is a good series to do with it. Lots of people with horrible attention spans enjoy it.

Her writing greatly improves throughout the series, and the Epilogue definitely shows that.

thanks, I thought that was fairly obvious

Epilogue was written before the first chapter of book one, or something like that. And after reading book 7, reading the epilogue definitely shows how far she's gone with her ability to write

The first three movies were OK, but Goblet of Fire was unwatchable. I lost interest in the movies at that point.

Harry Potter movies started out good, turned horrible and recovered in the end. Both parts of the last movie are good.

It's still blasphemy to watch the movies without reading the far superior books though.

It could have just been a few lines.



*spoilers*


Apparently the last line was like, "Only those who he loved could see the lightning scar", but she wanted to make it more clear that he lived the rest of his life happily and the story was over, so she changed it to "All was well". It's kind of easy to imagine that little else was changed.
