Yeah, I'm fairly unsociable, so this is a really dumb question, but as much as I love playing video/table top games and watching movies, it grows stale. However, I can't honestly think of much more to do that's reasonably priced and that you could do more than once in a while.

I've only really got one hipster friend and he doesn't play UF and denies being a hipster (which just confirms that he is one). I live about an hour and a half from the ocean, and with gas prices I wouldn't call it cheap, the only park closes to our house is undergoing renovations. Talking about nothing is fun, but activities are good too.

I was thinking of stuff that took up most of a day or an evening. I mean, it's fun for half an hour to an hour, but you need something else to do.
Well there are plenty of nifty parks around here. I don't know what your neck of the woods is like but if it has any decent parks, grab a friend or two and walk around. You can discuss things like gaming and whatever while taking a cool glance at the gators or... whatever they do you where you are.
My GameFAQs buddies and I go to this park called Sawgrass Lake every Sunday. Love it there. You can lose yourself for hours in its trails.

They're great fun if you get a group of friends together. Sometimes you can get an empty theater and just riff on that movie all you want.
This x100. Cheap theaters are pretty much the greatest thing ever - and even if you don't get an empty theater, the crowds and employees at cheap theaters are typically lax anyway, which makes for a really fun and chilled-out environment.
Aside from that... why not just get some friends together and hit a cheap fast food joint, like Taco Bell? Get a bunch of friends there, bring a simple game that works with big groups (like Apples to Apples or The Game of Things), grab some cheap food, and you have a foolproof plan for a really fun night. When I've done it with my friends, we've even had some random people and employees join in - it's awesome!

There isn't a ton to do here so we often go to Taco Bell or Burger King jsut for something to do. Try it

We have a $5 theater we hit up occasionally and it is a lot of fun. Apples to Apples is a great game, and I do enjoy card/board games. However, I just want something kind of different from my norm to do.
