A trend on social media is to film strangers in public and make up a narrative for likes . Sometimes people will also film themselves doing a good deed for strangers . A common argument people have for defending filming strangers and uploading it is "if someone is in public they should have no expectation of privacy. People are free to film and upload content of whoever as long as they are in public"
examples: -filming a video of an old man eating alone and talking about how sad it is -filming a couple on a train and mentioning that they probably watch The Big Bang theory together -filming someone and making up a sad story about them -filming an interaction with a worker while settling a customer service dispute --- *flops* ...
